The large public spaces are inspired by noble Italian
palaces of the 16 th and 17 th Centuries. The Argentieri
(silversmiths) Restaurant is decorated with 139 pieces
of silver; the most beautiful from a collection created
in 1604 by the painter Maggio for a Cardinal. They have
been reproduced following the original designs which were
handcrafted in a laboratory in Florence.
