Dating from the 1980’s these fine vessels were able to offer larger cabins than the traditional ships. They each have a restaurant, coffee shop, panorama lunge and ample deck space.
Suites Grade Q, M, MG, MX
All suites are equipped with shower & WC, seating area and TV, some suites on the three newest ships have a bathroom with bath tub/Jacuzzi. Most suites have a double bed, this may be two single mattresses set in a double frame, which cannot be separated. Some suites on the MS Midnatsol, MS Trollfjord and MS Finnmarken have a balcony or bay window.
Owners Suite (MX) – Two rooms, seating area and dining table, TV, stereo, internet access, minibar, private balcony
Grand Suite (MG) – One or two rooms, seating area, TV, stereo, internet access, minibar, Jacuzzi, private balcony or bay window
Suite (M) – one or two rooms, seating area, TV, minibar, some with private balcony
Mini Suite (Q) – seating area, TV, minibar
Cabin grades I, L, N, P, U, F
All standard cabins on the newer vessels are modern, comfortable and have private facilities. They vary in size and location, sometimes within the same grade. All have twin beds where one bed can be turned into a sofa, except F grade cabins which have a double bed.
Outside (F) – with view or restricted view/no view, seating area, TV, minibar
Outside (U) – Separate beds, one bed can be turned into a sofa, table. Upper middle decks
Outside (P) – Separate beds, one bed can be turned into a sofa. Upper and middle decks
Outside (N) – Separate beds, one bed can be turned into a sofa. Upper middle decks
Outside (L) – Some with limited or no view, separate beds, one bed can be turned into a sofa.
Inside (I) – Separate beds, one bed can be turned into a sofa
Outside (R) – Separate beds, one bed can be turned into a sofa. Upper middle decks
Outside (T) – Separate beds, one bed can be turned into a sofa. Middle decks and upper decks
Outside (G) – Some with limited or no view, separate beds, one bed can be turned into a sofa. Some with upper/lower berths
All standard cabins on our more ‘traditional ships’ are comfortable cabins, whether inside or outside, with private facilities, except D grade cabins which have a wash basin only. Cabins vary in size and location, sometimes within the same grade. G, T and R grade cabins have a berth and a sofa bed.
D, C and A grade cabins have upper and lower berths; D grade cabins are only available on MS Lofoten and MS Nordstjernen.
