Enjoy free time to enjoy the gardens at your leisure before departing on the walk back to the pier for the tender back to the ship.

Day 3 – Saturday 29 August
Located at the southern end of the Fal Estuary, Falmouth is a picturesque network of creeks & rivers and a fine example of just how beautiful Britain really is.  Today you will join your fellow gardeners and host for an exclusive visit to Bonython Estate Gardens.

Bonython Estate Gardens Visit

Discover a unique combination of traditional horticulture infused with innovative tropical planting on this exclusive visit to one of the Great Gardens of Cornwall, the Bonython Estate Gardens.

Enjoy an introductory talk by the owner and creator of the magnificent garden, Mrs Nathan who has passionately transformed the once traditional garden, personally planting every plant, with her South African roots reflected in the interesting array of species.

Explore the stunning estate at your own pace, with Mrs Nathan on hand to answer questions you may have. Stroll through the eighteenth-century Walled Garden, lined with colour-themed herbaceous borders, towards the traditional Potager Garden where many interesting fruits are able to grow thanks to the microclimate created by the garden’s ancient stone walls.

Tea and homemade cake will be served in the thatched summer house.

Day 4 – Sunday 30 August

There will be time this morning to explore Falmouth on your own or join an optional ship tour before enjoying lunch on board. Braemar sails in the afternoon for Plymouth.
Exclusive Talk- Join your host this afternoon for an illustrated talk and time for questions!

Day 5 – Monday 31 August
